Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the award winning, worldwide #1 radio, club and video hit “I Beg Your Pardon [Rose Garden],” Barry Harris’ Kon Kan is back with 2k14 remixes. Before producing more than 20 #1 hit remixes for the likes of Madonna, Whitney Houston, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Céline Dion, Cher, Janet Jackson, Spice Girls, and LeAnn Rimes, to name a few, as part of the Award winning remix team, Thunderpuss, Barry Harris (and singer Kevin Wynne), as Kon Kan, scored multiple global hits with the singles “I Beg Your Pardon [Rose Garden],” Puss N’ Boots / These Boots Are Made For Walkin,” and “Harry Houdini” off the album Move to Move.
To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, several record labels around the globe will be releasing 2k14 remixes over the course of several months, kicking off June 03, 2014 on Swishcraft Record’s “Swishcraft Pride 2014″ and followed by this EP of Remixes. Additional mixes on EPride Music and several more labels will join this release, including mixes by Edson Pride & Johnny Bass. The original video is also being cut to multiple remixes for VJ’s, with several mixes already available on the official Kon Kan YouTube page.
For Part One – Swishcraft’s own Matt Consola & Leo Frappier produce a full vocal, Big Room Anthem Club mix complete with dark but uplifting stabs and a heavy club beat. Right on trend, Division 4 creates a happy house mix with throwbacks to the 90’s club genre. Lastly, Cristian Poow, who celebrates his 100th club remix, introduces his new big room remix moniker, The Monstrates. A departure from his Tech House & Electro House ‘Cristian Poow’ sound, The Monstrates is full on, peak hour Anthem House.
For Part Two coming in late July 2014, mixes will include 7th Heaven & Cajjmere Wray.
