Tareq is a London-based Greek-Jordanian recording artist. Started in 2005 as the frontman of TechSoir w/ the album “Dark Room” (2007). Later he released his solo album “Cocoon” (2010) and had collabs w/ Marsheaux, Lacquer, and V-Sag, to name a few. Mix Mag named “Feel Me – Mighty Mouse Remix” as Tune of the Month for August 2011. His 2nd album “Fish” (2013) included collabs w/ the top Greek Indie Pop artists Natassa Bofiliou, Ilia Darlin, Marietta Fafouti, and RSN. In his theme of evolving his sound, Tareq’s EP “Indigo” (2017) was produced by french artist Lacquer. it was described as a funky feast of intelligent Electro-Pop. After the singles “You and Me” and “One”, Tareq more mature than ever, wrote and produced “Prints”, a mid-tempo electronica love serenade under the dystopian circumstances (July 2020). Tareq also produced exceptional remixes, for artists such as Fischerspooner, Erasure, Casey Spooner, Gala, Mighty Mouse, Marsheaux, Bright Light Bright Light, Jessica 6, and many more.
