Craig J. (Snider)

Craig J Snider is a Composer, Producer, Remixer, Songwriter, NY Post Celebrity Music Critic, Studio Owner and multi-instrumentalist. This past year, Craig completed the score and music supervision for Director Writer Nancy Goodman’s new Romantic Comedy “Surprise Me” now on Amazon Prime. Recently he also scored Two Episodes for the New York Times  Series on Hulu, and the Documentary film “Hayden & Her Family” for PBS with filmmaker May Tchao. Snider has also scored a number of documentaries including the award-winning “Head Games’ by Steve James (Hoop Dreams) & A&E’s “David Cassidy: The Last Session”. Currently he is scoring a new series for CNN “Dark Was The Night” coming in 2023. He is also known for his success as a Producer, Arranger, and Keyboardist on a string of Remixes and album productions that have topped Billboard’s dance chart (Over 40 Number One Hits!). Craig Co-Remixed Lady Gaga’s “Stupid Love” Remixed U2’s “Summer of Love” & Dido’s comeback single “Give You Up”, as well as “Chained To The Rhythm” & “Birthday” for Katy Perry, #1 records. He also produced David Cassidy’s 2019 Ep release “Songs My Father Taught Me” featured in A&E’s documentary “The Last Session”, filmed and recorded at his Mix Kitchen studios (#1 on the Amazon, on the Apple Jazz Charts). Recently Craig’s production of Stacey Jackson’s cover of the Foreigner classic “Urgent”, went top 10 in the UK. Craig’s new project with Grammy DJ/Producer Ralphi Rosario aptly named The Shamanic, released their first single “Fire” & “FK Always” which went Top 10 on the UK Pop/ Dance Charts.

Craig also has broad experience as a composer of original music for advertising and television. He has placed numerous songs & or composed music for television shows including American Greed, The Voice, Corporate, Madame Secretary, MTV Real World, & Sex and the City. A Boston native (As a child having studied at New England Conservatory & Berklee), Craig received a degree in piano and composition from Northwestern University. He received additional instruction from renowned recording artists Chick Corea, Jaki Byard, Keith Jarrett, Alain Swain, Michael Tilson Thomas, and John Browning.
