Her first single, “I.R.S.”, was released nearly ten years later. “I.R.S.” received heavy airplay on a Los Angeles radio station ahead of its official release in August 2014; it was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance in 2015 while her accompanying album was still in progress.

The Pasadena, California native was only 14-years-old when she hit the road on her very first tour as a member of the ‘All God’s Children’ touring choir––a choral group assembled by Grammy award winning producer and music executive, Lou Adler. That tour was the beginning of it all.
