The beginning of Jerry Ropero’s career started in Belgium when he became a member of “N.B.G.(Natural Born Grooves), known for their smashing hits “Forerunner” and “Groovebird”! Then, after a move to Hamburg, Germany, his biggest project was born, when he got together in the studio with the excellent vocalist Terri B. and, the voice from several other projects like “2 Eivissa”, “Future Breeze”, etc. and Dj Maui!

With “Get Down”, Avantgarde reached top positions in all charts over the world, like 5 weeks number 1 in Holland, 7 in Canada and Italy, top 50 in Australia and even number 12 in the American Billboard Dance charts! In 2004, new mixes came out again reaching top positions around the world! The recordings were made in Studio 33, where “Modern Talking”, “Fun Factory” and many other dance projects were produced, and mixed by the well-known engineer Luis Rodriguez and Dieter Bohlen!

As a remixer, Jerry Ropero has delivered new reconstructions of many dance floor hits from “Negrocan” with “Cada Vez”, “Robbie Rivera`s Bang”, Dax Riders people or Spanish popstar “Alejandro Sanz” for his new album, between many others! But what Jerry really loves, is his career as a Dj!

This hobby, which turned in to be a very important base for his work, has brought him to play in the best clubs from all over the world, from “Space”, Ibiza to “Gallery” Sao Paolo, over Belgium, Spain, Hungary, etc and of course in his hometown Hamburg, where he runs his own publishing company, Inter-label Music Publishing!

Shortly after, Jerry Ropero met the well-known producer and DJ, Denis The Menace. Not only a very close friendship between them began to grow, but musically they were definitely speaking the same language as well. Nothing was holding the two musicians back from putting their studios together, and from now on working as a team.

Along with Denis The Menace and their very good friend and producer Clubworxx, Jerry is very well respected in the internationally house-scene. The two of them have released their productions with labels such as Vendetta in Spain, Royal Flush in France, Media Rec. in Benelux and much more, including working with the house legend DJ Pippi, who is one of the pioneers since house music started way back in the days, on a project titled Paixao.

In the early 2000’s, Jerry became one of the pioneers of the genre of Jackin’ House, as displayed on some many of his 2016 & 2017 hit remixes. Keep your ears sharp, cause there is much more to come up from Jerry Ropero in 2018!
